Songwriters in the Round is a signature musical experience benefiting Grand Strand Miracle Leagues. For more than 20 years, this one-of-a-kind “behind the music” evening has brought Nashville’s celebrated songwriters to Myrtle Beach to share the stories, inspiration, and heart behind the songs you know and love.

Inspired by the spirit of the iconic The Bluebird Cafe, the concert is presented “in the round,” with thoughtfully arranged seating that surrounds the performers and creates a warm, connected atmosphere. Every guest feels part of the storytelling as rare acoustic performances unfold just steps away.

The evening is curated by Phillip Lammonds, whose artistry and relationships within the industry bring extraordinary talent to the stage each year. A respected songwriter himself, Phillip has written with and for artists including Lee Brice, Darius Rucker, Edwin McCain, Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan, Josh Turner, and Hootie & the Blowfish, among others.

More than a concert, Songwriters in the Round is an evening of connection, where powerful storytelling, unforgettable music, and community purpose come together to support individuals with disabilities thriving through adaptive sports and recreation.

2026 Packages On Sale Soon!

Tickets are available on a first-come basis, and seating is intentionally limited to preserve the intimate, “in the round” experience our guests love. With attendance capped to ensure every seat feels close to the music and storytelling, we encourage you to secure your tickets early before the evenings fill.

A Night to Savor

The evening begins with handcrafted hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails at 6 pm, followed by a flavorful Lowcountry supper at 6:30 pm. And yes, you’ll want to save room for dessert. Our menu, thoughtfully prepared by Buttercream Cakes & Catering’s Ann Mayfield, is designed to complement a night filled with music, connection, and celebration.

Stories Behind the Songs

Acclaimed Nashville songwriters take the stage to share the music you know and love, along with the personal stories that inspired each lyric. These celebrated artists have written alongside some of the industry’s biggest names and crafted hits of their own. In this intimate round, you’ll hear the heart behind the harmonies.

An Evening That Stays With You

Every seat is intentionally arranged to create a warm, up-close setting where music and storytelling come alive. Hosted by Phillip Lammonds and his talented guests, the night blends artistry, laughter, and meaningful moments. It’s more than a concert. It’s an experience that connects community and purpose in a truly memorable way.

"Under the radar & one-of-a-kind!"

"Songwriters in the Round is a unique and well-organized event that creates a camaraderie between performers and the audience. I feel like this event is the best kept secret in Myrtle Beach. Low key, under-the-radar, one-of-a-kind, intimate experience! Every performance is top notch, along with amazing stories from the artists themselves. It's our favorite event of the year! Wouldn't miss it!"
